Barefoot is
a 42 foot aluminum cruising cutter designed by Angelo Lavranos and
modified with a hard dodger and a partially balanced rudder. This
design has a truly compound shape with no constant radii and has plate
thicknesses varying from 5/16" at the keel; 1/4" to the waterline
and 3/16" topsides. The hull was unpainted above the waterline and
completed to a motor away stage. She was launched in November last
year and is being completed by her owner in Seattle.
Early days with the transom underway in the workshop.
