We are currently constructing
a Dudley Dix 43 foot centre cockpit design also modified with a
custom designed hard dodger. All metalwork and painting is now complete
and we are now working on the fitting out.
Forward set of frames
Shell plating completed.Welded inside then back cut on the outside,
then welded
and ground.
As an experiment the hull was painted in primer before turnover
when all surfaces
are readily accessible. The area above the rubbing band is unpainted
as the deck
has yet to be welded in place.
A hard dodger was custom designed by Dudley.
Hull is finish painted by the rolling and brushing technique. No
filler has beeen used to achieve this degree of fairness.
Dodger finish painted and fitted with Diamond/Sea-Glaze windows.
Inside of finished dodger with teak layed on cockpit seats.
